My Favorite Episode of Bob’s Burgers: “Two for Tina”
We are on a (hopefully) never-ending mission to try to decide which episodes of Bob’s Burgers are top tier episodes of Bob’s Burgers.
In our newest video podcast series on YouTube, My Favorite Episode, we are joined by a special guest who bring us their favorite episode of Bob’s Burgers. We then run the episode through a very official set of criteria that we’ve come up with in order to determine if the guest’s favorite episode of Bob’s Burgers is, in fact, top tier.
In our latest episode, we are joined by professional screenwriter Julia Yorks (The Adventures of Puss in Boots, Trolls: The Beat Goes On) and the episode she picked is “Two for Tina.”
For those of you who’d like a quick refresher of the Bob’s Burgers episode: “Two for Tina,” here is the official synopsis courtesy of Fandom:
Tina asks Jimmy, Jr. to the Wagstaff School dance and he says maybe. On her way home, she sees former love interest, Josh, and he asks Tina if she wants to go to his school dance. When Tina tells Jimmy Jr. that Josh asked her to his school dance, he gets jealous and enlists the help of Louise and Gene to make her choose him. She ultimately chooses Josh and attends his school dance with him. Jimmy shows up and engages in a dance-off for Tina. She realizes that she can't choose between the two boys and tries to make it work between the three of them, but Jimmy and Josh are put off by this and Tina ends up alone.
In a separate storyline, Linda makes Bob chaperone the Wagstaff school dance with her to make up for the dances he never went to as a kid.
